Provided there is no conflict we accept instructions on behalf of Landlords or Tenants to act in obtaining the best possible settlement.
Whilst generally these matters are settled by detailed research and negotiation, we also act in the capacity of Expert Witness in the event of continuing dispute. We are members of the RICS Helpline and provide initial advice free of charge to any party faced with a rent review or lease renewal.
All commercial properties are subject to revaluation every 5 years. Individual properties can be revalued for varying factors such as extensions or changes in trading patterns. We believe that it is imperative that occupiers consider challenging their assessments. We carry out a detailed survey of the property, analyse all the relevant evidence and explore all avenues to ensure that our clients’ rating liability is continually kept to a minimum.
